Rustic + Vintage

Beautiful French Chateau inspired styled shoot, embracing that hazy, late Summer feeling. Hues of French blue, lavender, grey, deep burgundy, and pops of mustard yellow bridge the end of Summer, start of Autumn transition. Gauzy textures amidst architectural elements create a playful, yet sophisticated vibe.

Gorgeous wedding at lakefront Shore Lodge in McCall, Idaho. Lush greens and soft succulents mix with heavy antlers and airy florals to create a mix of feminine and masculine in this natural wedding. Neutral colors allow the metallic accents to shine. The groom’s love for hunting is reinforced with a sweet doe and buck atop the cutting cake, and again with the Lodge’s iconic moose decked in his floral wreath. Clear chiavari chairs set at sturdy, rustic wood tables reinforce the styles of Bride and Groom. Photography by Two Bird Studio.

We absolutely loved the details Jake and Brent poured into their wedding day at Bishop House. Having relocated to Australia, but coming home for the Idaho nuptials, we knew we had to incorporate eucalyptus into the greenery that was carried throughout the event décor. It was important to convey a masculine vibe, and so we practically eliminated florals and allowed greens to spring from dark amber bottles and mixed vintage glass. Between the whiskey tasting set up, the vintage photo bus, the paper airplanes and luggage strewn throughout to represent their travels, and photos of their Skype sessions as they courted long distance, we couldn’t possibly pick a favorite element! Although we did especially love those mixed wood chairs for ceremony, repurposed for reception. And how sweet is the kids table with vintage inspired toys? Photography by Ampersand Studios.

This joyful and vibrant Summer wedding at Pilgrim Cove’s campground was a staff favorite! Garden florals popped amidst the natural burlap and greenery backdrops in every aspect of the event. Handmade pendant bunting incorporated the couple’s color palette and hung from the rafters, brightening the reception space. Guests enjoyed yard games and an after hours fire pit with marshmallow roasting for S’mores. Our favorite part? The sweetest little deer showing courtesy in allowing the ceremony to conclude before snacking on the arch’s honeysuckle! We love Idaho! Photography by Ampersand Studios.
